About Me

Greetings, dear reader,
I am Gabi, 5 dan Yumehio® Therapist and Teacher.
I am also the official country representative of Yumeiho® Therapy in the United Kingdom.
I have been practicing Yumeiho® therapy since 2013, as a result of lower back pain, which directed my attention to this exceptional and wonderful therapy.
Entering as a patient and ending up as a therapist I became more and more involved into Yumeiho® Therapy as I discovered how beneficial it is for everybody, from early childhood to senior age as well.
In June 2015 I obtained my 3 dan level degree diploma and have been working as a Yumeiho® Therapist ever since, focusing on musculoskeletal disorders, sciatica, lower back pain, disc herniation, post-stroke rehabilitation, Marathon-runners therapy and beyond.
I also had the privilege to learn about the Yumeiho Baby Program from Katalin Faragó, who is my mentor and teacher. This program is for women who would like to have a child but have encountered some difficulties around conceiving, or wish to be supported by this therapy during the pregnancy process.
My belief is that regular therapy is the best prevention possible, slowing down the process of ageing and helping to live a balanced, good quality life.
Yumeiho® therapy is a prominent part of my life as well as a continuous path in my inner spiritual and professional journey.
As a Yumeiho® therapist and teacher, I would love to make this wonderful therapy more widespread and accessible to people who are interested and teach it with professional gratitude.
„Practicing Yumeiho therapy reminds me of the love between two human beings, the trust between therapist and patient, it is the first step with the intention to heal the suffering with or without will, with or without saying.” Saionji Masayuki
Currently, I live and practise in Brighton, Sussex.

About Yumeiho Therapy
Yumeiho® therapy is one of the best deep tissue massages where the auto-therapeutic forces of the body are mobilised to reach the cause of discomfort or pain. There are also carefully selected gentle manipulations if the client’s condition requires that.
It has proven benefits for:
• Sedentary work and bad posture-related problems: fatigue in the back and neck muscles, lower back pain, sciatica, disc degenerations, headache, migraine etc)
• Physical discomfort and pain in other parts of the musculoskeletal system such as rigidity of muscles, joints, scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis, joint dislocations, locomotive and balance disorders.
• Stress and its broader effects: anxiety, agitation, physical and physical fatigue, depression, insomnia
• Gynaecological problems: irregular or painful menstruation, cystic fibrosis, difficulty to get pregnant
• Childrens’ scoliosis
• Osteoporosis
• Gastro-intestinal and gut related problems
First session
During the Yumeiho ® treatment patient is fully clothed in comfortable and loose trousers and a T-shirt.
Yumeiho® treatment is being performed on a special mattress placed on the floor.
On the first session, there is a thorough assessment about the patient’s present condition and medical history.
After the massage session the practitioner will advise on a targeted Yumeiho® therapy plan.
Therapy plan
Yumeiho® therapy contains usually between 10 and 30 sessions (when the condition is milder it can be 3 to 9 sessions).
The best results can be achieved if sessions are being performed regularly, in most cases on weekly basis.
After completing the therapy plan, it is recommended to benefit from Yumeiho® therapy on a monthly basis as a relaxing and preventive treatment.
Individual therapy plans will always be discussed with the patient at the end of the first session.
